Shipping, Damages, Cancellations, Refunds and Returns

FREE Shipping Nationwide:

All Caravan, Pop Top, Camper Trailer and Motorhome Covers, accessories and Lithium-ion batteries advertised on our online store are shipped FREE Australia wide.

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order you can expect an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and have taken payment using one of the various methods available, i.e. pre-authorisation on your your credit /debit card, Paypal, Afterpay.

For the above payment methods, once we receive your order we automatically forward these details to the relevant cover Supplier. In cases where Bank Deposit is used as the payment method, Caravan Covers Direct will wait for the payment to clear into our account and then place the order with the Supplier, which may take an additional business day.

While every effort is made to ensure that all products advertised on Caravan Covers Direct are available and in stock ready for shipment, there may be occasions when an item is out of stock and only available on back-order. If this happens you will be contacted immediately and offered the choice of:

  • another item currently in stock;
  • wait until such time as the item is available to be shipped;
  • full refund.

Order Shipment:

Once your order is placed with our Supplier (and if the item is in stock and ready for shipment) it will usually ship within three business days from the date of your order. Once it has left the warehouse, we will send you tracking information within 24 hours to the email address we have on file. If you do not receive tracking information from us within five business days of having placed your order, please send an email quoting your order confirmation number to: sales@caravancoversdirect.com.au.

Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, (or as soon as possible in cases where the item(s) have been left without needing your signature) and if you notice any damage please ensure you make note of it by recording the date and time, and take clear photos of affected areas.

If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send all details including photos to: returns@caravancoversdirect.com.au and we will help facilitate communication with the manufacturer on your behalf. Please note that it is important that this information is recorded and forwarded in a timely manner so that Caravan Covers Direct can advise the Supplier without unnecessary delay.

Cancellations, Refunds and Returns:

Cancellations and refunds should be requested within 24 hours of having made your purchase, as this allows Caravan Covers Direct enough time to cancel the order with the Supplier and prevent the item from being shipped.

Please note that 'incorrect choice of size' or 'change of mind' will be accepted as a valid reason to cancel your order if the cancellation is made within this 24 hour time frame. It is important that choice of size is determined before placing an order, and if in doubt, please contact Caravan Covers Direct to discuss and we will assist to ensure the best option is chosen.

In cases where the Buyer requests a refund, please note that refunds can only be returned using the original payment method used when placing your order.

All orders cancelled after 24 hours of having been placed are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. This amount will be deducted from any refund amount owing.

If the order has shipped, the Buyer will incur the shipping costs to return the item to the Supplier. In such cases the item(s) must be returned in the original unopened packaging, and all return shipping details will be advised in writing, including a quote for return shipping costs. Caravan Covers Direct will always endeavour to quote the most cost-effective shipping option.

The Buyer may choose for Caravan Covers Direct to arrange for the return shipping, or s/he may choose to arrange this themselves. In cases when Caravan Covers Direct arranges the return shipping, the quoted price will be invoiced and the Buyer will need to pay this in full prior to courier collection.

In cases where the Buyer receives an incorrect item and Caravan Covers Direct are responsible for the error, Caravan Covers Direct will make arrangements to have the item collected and returned at our expense. Once the item has been collected, the replacement item will be shipped.
